Schneider Electric Announced the Completion of the Acquisition of Leader Huafu

       Global Energy Efficiency Specialist Schneider Electric has announced the successful completion of the acquisition of Leader Huafu Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. on October 12, 2011. Leader Huafu is one of the leading companies in China's fast-growing medium voltage drive market. Earlier, Schneider Electric on June 9, 2011 announced the acquisition of Leader Huafu.

The acquisition will further improve Schneider Electric's energy-efficient products and solutions for key target end markets in emerging economies. The frequency converter can provide up to 50% energy saving for industrial motors. The mid-range frequency converter from Lideway has further enhanced Schneider Electric's solutions for energy-intensive markets such as power generation, mining, mineral processing and metallurgy, oil and gas, water and water treatment.
