• Positive Displacement Meters (PD Meters) is used for liquid services for measuring volumetric flow where integrated flowing quantity of high accuracy is required.
• According to the operation condition and flow property, appropriate Positive Displacement Meters shall be considered, such as Helical Gear PD Meter, Oval Gear PD Meter, Rotary PD Meter.
• Linearity: ±0.15% or better, over the linearity flow range.
• Repeatability: 0.02% or better.
• Accuracy: ±0.5 % of the measurement value.
• Turndown ratio: Not less than 10:1.
• Output signal: pulse or 4-20mA
• Rotor bearing shall be of low friction stainless steel and should not require lubricating. PD Meters shall not be used with non-lubricating liquids such as propane and butane.
• The material selection and low internal clearances of positive displacement meters are usually designed to match a range of specific fluid properties and design conditions.
