What are the disadvantages of thermal mass flow meter?

Thermal meter can only measure the gas or air in which the mass flow meter was calibrated in the manufacture.
It is not good and correct measuring result for the gas or air containing too much moisture or water.
When measure the fast changing temperature gas or air, it is not stable working and readout.

Applications those are good to use thermal dispersion flow meter?

Mass flow meter is better to measure the mass flow of natural gas to the combustion source for energy management and environmental reporting
Submetering natural gas for cost accounting, process efficiency, as well as billing tenants
Air flow, such as combustion air or compressed air

Common mistakes when using thermal mass gas flow meter?

Not ensure enough straight pipelines before and after the mass flow sensor when mounting the thermal mass flow sensor.
The gas or air flow profile in the field should not be different from the profile when the gas flow meter is calibrated in the factory or lab.

When thermal gas mass flow meter is used to detect and measure flare gas, what are the toughest challenges?

Flare gas flow rate can change directly which affect the gas meter accuracy
Flare gas compositions also change a lot.
