Electro-Magnetic Flow Meter sensor is manufactured according to Faradays law in which an electric voltage is induced in a conductor moving through a magnetic field. SHD-SE16 Series Slurry Magnetic Flow Meter is designed for stable flow measurement in the most difficult high-noise slurry applications; it is the most accurate and abrasion-resistant flow sensors for sludge, slurries and solids. This type mag meter is widely used in the pulp and paper, mining industries.

Slurry flow meter applications

There are mainly slurry flow meter applications , waterwater slurry, sugar/corn syrup slurry, auto seed slurry, grainy, slurry with suspended particles, abrasive slurry, abrasive drilling slurry, chemical slurry, slurry copper.,etc. SE16 series Electromagnetic flow meter can only measure parts of the slurry mentioned. For some too tough applications, such as drilling fluids, mining slurry, you may need to go for Coreolis flowmeter, Coriolis flow meter is also a perfect slurry flow meter with not cheap price cost.

Slurry flow meter price

The price of slurry flowmeter is determined by many factors. The price of slurry electromagnetic flowmeter is much more expensive than that of ordinary type mag meter, because the magnetic flow converter is suitable for slurry measurement, and the lining and electrode are all wear-resistant types. Slurry flow meters are generally inline flow meter, The larger the size, the higher the price,obviously ,12” slurry flow meter is much more expensive than 4” slurry flow meter.  The price of SILVER slurry magnetic flowmeter starts at $600.
If the field application is tough, we need to buy Coriolis mass flow meter to measure the slurry flow rate. The mass flow meter is very expensive, starting from $3,000
