Electromagnetic flow meter for corrosive liquid

Electromagnetic flow meter for corrosive liquid

By choosing different liners and different electrodes materials, Electromagnetic flow meters can measure corrosive strong acids or strong alkali liquids. Electromagnetic flowmeter is an inductive instrument that measures the volumetric flow of conductive medium in a tube according to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. In addition to measuring the flow rate of general conductive fluids, it can also measure the liquid-solid two-phase flow, the high-viscosity liquid flow and the volume flow of salts, strong acids, and strong alkali liquids. Mag flowmeters are widely used in chemical, environmental protection, metallurgy, medicine, paper, water supply and drainage industries.

Features

Three-electrode structure, safety ground
Electrode material: Hastelloy C alloy, titanium, tantalum
In-line flow meter for aggressive liquid flow rate measurement
PTFE /PFA/F46 liners are resistant to strong acid and strong alkali liquid
Stainless steel housing material option
Digital flow meter which has display to show instant flow and total flow
Communication output: digital communication signal output such as RS485, RS232, Hart and Modbus

Electromagnetic flowmeter lining selection

When measuring corrosive media, we generally choose PTFE or PFA or F46 lining. The Teflon material is used to measure the temperature of the corrosive medium at -40 ° C ~ 130 ° C, and the PFA or F46 lining is used to measure the medium temperature between -40 ° C and 180 ° C.

Magnetic flow meter electrode material

Hastelloy B: hydrochloric acid (HCL concentration less than 10%), ammonium hydroxide alkaline solution, NaOH (sodium hydroxide concentration less than 50%), phosphoric acid, organic acid
Hastelloy C: a mixed solution of chromic acid and sulfuric acid, seawater
Titanium (Ti): sodium salt, potassium salt, ammonium salt, hypochlorite, sea water. Ammonium hydroxide, strontium hydroxide solution
Tantalum (Tan): HCL (hydrochloric acid concentration less than 40%), dilute sulfuric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid, chlorine dioxide (ClO₂), magnesium chloride, hypochlorous acid, sodium cyanide, lead acetate, etc., nitric acid HNO₃ (including fuming nitric acid) and other oxidizing acids, temperature Ark water below 80 ° C
Platinum (Pt): Almost all acid, alkali, salt solutions (including fuming sulfuric acid, fuming nitric acid)
