What is the working principle of high pressure turbine flowmeter?

The principle is easy to understand, and the core is to use the impact force of liquid flow to drive the impeller to rotate. When high-pressure liquid flows through the flow meter, it will impact the impeller blades. The faster the liquid flow rate, the greater the impact force, and the faster the impeller rotates. When the impeller rotates, it triggers the internal sensor, which converts the rotation signal into an electrical signal. After processing and conversion, the flow rate data of the liquid can be accurately obtained. The entire process is suitable for 400bar high-pressure working conditions, and can also ensure signal stability without complex principle debugging.

The high-pressure liquid turbine adopts the wafer connection method, which can withstand high pressure.

What fluids can be measured by high pressure liquid turbine flow meter?

The scope of application is very wide, and common high-pressure cleaning liquids can be measured, such as high-pressure hydraulic oil ISO VG46, industrial high-pressure water TDI ( toluene diisocyanate), MeCl ( Methelyne Chloride),ethylene glycol solution, light fuel, etc. It should be noted that liquids containing a large amount of impurities, high viscosity (exceeding approximately 50 cp), or strong corrosiveness should not be measured. Such liquid will wear down the impeller and corrode the shell, affecting measurement accuracy and service life.

What is the max pressure the liquid turbine flow meter can handle?

The maximum pressure is 40MPa (5800 psi), which can withstand such high pressure for a long time in actual use. This TUF flowmeter is specifically designed for high-pressure conditions, with the core components made of high-strength and high-pressure resistant materials.

The housing has undergone strict pressure testing and can operate in pressure environments of 40MPa or below for a long time without leakage, deformation, or other problems.

As long as the pipeline pressure does not exceed the rated 5800 psi, it can work stably and adapt to various high-pressure liquid such as high-pressure hydraulic oil and high-pressure water.

What is the accuracy for high pressure liquid turbine flow meter?

The accuracy fully meets the standard, and the conventional measurement accuracy can reach ± 0.5%~± 1.0%, meeting the measurement and control needs of the vast majority of industrial high-pressure liquids.

The impeller adopts precise dynamic balancing design and is equipped with high-performance sensors, which can accurately capture readings even if there are small fluctuations in flow rate under high-pressure conditions. The data is stable and does not require frequent calibration.

Wafer connection is convenient for installation, without the need for additional complex flange bases. It can be directly clamped between two pipeline flanges, aligned with the bolt holes, and tightened.

Compatible with conventional standard flanges, no need to customize accessories separately, saving time and effort in on-site construction. Installation can be completed by a single person with simple tools, especially suitable for high-pressure pipeline scenarios with compact space.

What needs to be done for daily maintenance, and would it be tedious?

The maintenance is very simple, and there is basically no need to disassemble frequently. Regularly check whether the connecting bolts are loose (to prevent high-pressure leakage), keep the flowmeter housing clean, and avoid impurities from adhering. Under normal use, calibration every 12 months if you want can ensure measurement accuracy, with low maintenance costs in the later stage, and is suitable for the continuous operation requirements of industry.
