• Ultrasonic flowmeter is a non-contact measuring instrument, which can be used to measure water for large pipe diameters. It does not change the water flow state, does not produce pressure loss, and is easy to install.

Disadvantages for clamp on water flow meter

• The temperature measurement range of the ultrasonic flowmeter is not high, and max temperature is 200℃.
• Poor anti-interference ability. It is susceptible to the interference of bubbles, fouling, pumps and other sound sources mixed with ultrasonic noise, which affects the measurement accuracy.
• Ultrasonic clamp on flow meter has strict requirements for installation the ultrasonic transducers, with the upstream 20D and the downstream 5D.
• Limited application: mainly for clean water measurement, Ultrasonic flow meter for gas is currently not available for SILVER now, but will we will sell that type ultrasonic gas flow transmitter in near future.
• Has demand for the pipeline material :has poor performance on shining pipeline, such as stainless steel 316.
